Preliminary results: Vitalie Vrabie to be mayor of Ungheni city of Moldova
Chisinau, 19 November /MOLDPRES/ - The office of mayor of the Ungheni city is to be held by an independent candidate, Vitalie Vrabie, according to the preliminary results by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).
According to CEC, 57.8 per cent of the electors voted for Vrabie, while 42.4 per cent of the voters opted for his counter-candidate, Dionisie Ternovschi, the candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party.
As many as 23,427 Ungheni residents (36.4 per cent) of the Ungheni residents voted today.
