
Three parliamentary commissions from Moldova, Romania hold joint meeting in Iasi
Chisinau, 3 May /MOLDPRES/ - The members of the parliament’s commission for economy, budget and finances and the commission for the control of public finances hold a joint meeting with the members of the transports and infrastructure commission of Romania’s Senate. The event is held in Iasi on 3-4 May.
Among the subjects tackled, there is the development of the partnership between Moldova and Romania in fields of common interest, such as economy, infrastructure, transports, agriculture or tourism. In the context, the officials stressed the need to boost the inter-parliamentary relations, especially on the platform of the competent commissions, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
In the end of the meeting, the participants will sign a resolution, thereby reconfirming the commitment taken by Romania to support Moldova in the European integration process.
At the same time, the Moldovan delegation will have meetings with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Iasi, the Iasi city hall and County Council.
