423 road accidents occurred due to speed in first months of 2021
Chisinau, 31 March /MOLDPRES/- In the first three months of 2021, due to speed, there were 423 road accidents, after which 41 people died and 475 injured.
According to the National Inspectorate of Public Security / INSP /, last weekend, the prevention department of the inspectorate carried out a monitoring operation in which multiple violations were found by night drivers in the capital.
"We had a general operation with the use of two patrol cars with distinctive signs of the Police and the trap car, without distinctive signs, with radar system, to detect drivers who do not comply with the road traffic Regulations. Serious violations were detected, nine reports were drawn up ", INSP prevention department head Daniel Mazepa said.
Similar operations will be organized as well.
