
About 30,000 Chisinau residents went to cemetery on Easter of Departed
Chisinau, 11 May /MOLDPRES/- Easter holidays passed in the capital without incident. During today's meeting of the services of the Chisinau municipality, Ministry of Interior representative Tudor Borș said that no major incidents were registered during Easter holidays.
According to Borș, on Easter of the Departed, about 30,000 inhabitants went to cemeteries in the city, and 300 employees of the capital's police monitored the cemeteries, as well as the road traffic.
During the same period, 1,023 contraventions were registered, of which 244 reports were concluded for non-compliance with anti-epidemic rules, 32 for cases of non-compliance with cleanliness and 31 for illicit trade.
