Chisinau city hall in 2021 applies single menu for children's nourishment in kindergartens
Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall informs that a single menu for children’s nourishment has been applied in the kindergartens from Moldova’s capital since early 2021.
The local public administration said that, this year, a single menu would be applied in early education institutions, which implies the delivery to kindergartens of products with the same quality, origin and price.
According to the deputy mayor, Angela Cutasevici, the application of the single menu in kindergartens will contribute to the enhancement of the efficiency of public procurements and optimal use of financial means. In the context, the Chisinau city hall, jointly with the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA) and the Public Health Centre of the Chisinau city will work out an info-schedule on the organization and covering of the nourishment process in the education institutions, so that the public knows all stages of its organization.
Also, the Chisinau city hall’s education, youth and sport general department elaborated a draft regulation, which establishes the way of fulfillment and monitoring of the contracts on public procurements of food products and the process of children’s nourishment in the early education institutions from the Chisinau city, in order to facilitate the procedures and monitor the acquisition contracts, as well as the way of their carrying out.
Till 28 January this year, the managers of the pre-school institutions will notify, in an online questionnaire, all irregularities and difficulties faced in the process of implementing the single menu, which are to be synthesized and settled by the city hall, jointly with economic agents, ANSA and the Public Health Centre from the Chisinau city.
