
COVID-19 returns in Moldova: section of Chisinau-based hospital reoriented to receive patients with serious COVID forms
Chisinau, 19 August /MOLDPRES/ - Patients with serious forms of COVID-19 will be hospitalized at the Chisinau-based Municipal Phthisio-pneumology Hospital, where a section with 44 beds was re-oriented. The deputy head of the medical and social assistance general department of the Chisinau city hall, Marina Buga, has made statements to this effect at a today’s meeting of the city hall.
According to the quoted source, the decision was taken after 453 new cases of COVID-19 had been registered in the Moldovan capital, by 170 cases more against the week before.
The Emergency Medicine Institute today published a message, thereby recommending that the patients, as well as the residents wear protection marks in public places.
