Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/- Former MP Veaceslav Platon is summoned to the prosecutor's office on 2 November on raiding a bank with money from Russian laundromat.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, in 2011-2015, several people using false documents and financial means from the Russian Laundromat organized the registration of transactions in the absence of the will of the legal owners or their successors, which allowed them to obtain a package of 28,051 shares of Moldova-Agroindbank worth 28 million lei.
According to the evidence in the criminal case, prosecutors found that, after obtaining the package of actions, the perpetrators to disguise the illicit origin of the stolen securities, traded the stolen shares to non-resident companies whose real beneficiary was Veaceslav Platon.
