METEO: Hot weather to maintain in Moldova on 26 July too
Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has informed about a new Yellow Code of hot weather, with air temperatures increasing up to +40 Celsius degrees.
According to meteorologists, on 26 July, the air temperatures will be of +33 - +35 degrees and will oscillate between +36 and +39 degrees in the southern Moldova.
In the context, SHS comes up with the following recommendations: avoiding, as far as possible, the long-lasting exposition to sun between 11:00 and 18:00; wearing of sun hats, light and wide clothes made of natural fibres, of light colours; making warm showers during the day, without wiping the water; drinking between 1.5 and 2 litres of liquids, without waiting for the sense of thirst.
„During the dog days, the consumption of a glass of water (or its equivalent) is recommended after each 15-20 minutes; consume fresh fruits and vegetables (melons, plums, cucumbers, tomatoes), as they contain a big quantity of water; take care of people dependent on you (children, elderly, disabled people), giving them regularly liquids, even if they do not ask you for them,’’ the quoted source said.
The yellow code of fire danger is valid in Moldova till 27 July.
