Moldovan Official Journal published decision on agreement between Moldovan, Romanian governments
Chisinau, 28 January /MOLDPRES/- The Official Journal today published cabinet decision to start negotiations on draft Agreement between the governments of Chisinau and Bucharest on the implementation of the technical and financial assistance program, based on the donation from Romania.
Under the document, the Republic of Moldova will benefit from one hundred million euros from Romania, as a non-reimbursable financial aid, for the implementation of projects in key sectors of our country, for a period of seven years.
Based on the Agreement, Romania and Moldova will develop cooperation in the following areas: energy sector, transport infrastructure, environmental protection and climate change, public works and infrastructure, support for small and medium enterprises, media independence, public administration reform, home affairs, health, education, culture and heritage, research and tourism.
The projects will contribute to the development of the strategic partnership for the European integration of the Republic of Moldova, the promotion of the reform process, as well as the improvement of the living conditions in our country.
This agreement is to be signed during the joint meeting of the Governments of the Republic of Moldova and Romania, scheduled for February 11 this year.
