Moldovan parliament extends term of registration of transport means from left bank of Dniester
Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/ - The term of registration of transport means from the left bank of Dniester has been extended till 1 September 2022. The parliament approved a draft law to this effect today.
The registration term was to expire this year. Under the document, the term’s extension by two years will give the residents of the administrative and territorial units from the left bank of Dniester and Bender municipality right to enter international traffic by their own vehicles, only if they are registered by the state authorities, based on the Convention on Road Traffic, adopted in Vienna in 1968. Moldova joined this Convention under the Parliament Decision No 1318/1993.
The amendments made to the legislation contribute to the strengthening of the trust between the two banks of Dniester.
