
Over 4,700 patients called for ambulance last two days
Chisinau, 21 September /MOLDPRES/- In the last 48 hours, the emergency medical teams provided first aid to 4,752 people.
According to the National Center for Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance, the citizens with respiratory emergencies most often requested an ambulance - 1,302. The ambulance doctors intervened in 774 people with cardiovascular emergencies, out of which 10 patients with myocardial infarction. The Emergency Service received 522 calls for people with neurological emergencies, including 48 patients with strokes.
At the same time, the ambulance teams intervened in 27 road accidents, and 22 patients, including two minors, were transported to the hospital for specialized treatment.
On weekend, the ambulance provided first aid to 16 people with poisoning, including six medications, five with mushrooms and one with alcohol.
