Over 60 cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldovan capital
Chisinau, Nov. 28 /MOLDPRES/- More than 60 cases of COVID-19 were registered last week in the capital. The announcement was made today by the head of the General Directorate of Medical and Social Assistance, Boris Gîlca, at the operative meeting of the municipal services.
At present, a small number of cases of COVID-19 are recorded. "Citizens must continue to be cautious. Specialists recommend vaccination with Booster 1 and 2 doses," said Boris Gîlca.
At the same time, the authorities urged people in risk groups to go to the family doctor to administer their flu vaccine.
Last week, the number of seasonal viruses among children increased. Also, 10 cases of tuberculosis were registered.
Specialists urge citizens to consult a doctor at the first symptoms of illness, such as weakness, cough or fever.
