
Over 7,500 citizens from Moldovan capital to receive material assistance
Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/ - Over 7,500 citizens from the Chisinau city will receive material assistance worth about 7.1 million lei (355,000 euros) in all. The municipal commission for establishing and providing the material assistance to the disadvantaged families has taken a decision this effect.
Thus, the cooks and the auxiliary staff of the nourishment units from the general education institutions of the Moldovan capital will benefit from a one-off material assistance worth 1,000 lei, for the motivation to work with a non-attractive salary.
At the same time, 507 pupils with special education requirements, who attend five special auxiliary schools from Chisinau, will receive 500 lei each, for the support of the parents who bring up and educate children with disabilities.
Also, about 4,000 teachers who work at general education institutions from the Chisinau municipality and have a length of service as teachers of over 25 years, will enjoy a material assistance worth 1,000 lei each, by the professional day of the education sector employee.
A number of 301 war veterans and invalids, who participated in the actions of defence of Moldova’s Independence, will benefit from a financial support of 1,000 lei each, on the occasion of Moldova’s Independence Day. Also, 500 culture people will receive 500 lei each, for the support of creation activities, on the occasion of the Romanian Language Day National Holiday.
Asa many as 879 people with hearing deficiencies, members of the Association of Deaf People from Moldova, Chisinau Territorial Branch, will benefit from assistance as well. They will receive 500 lei each. Another ten active members of the same organization will raise 2,000 lei each, by the International Day of People with Hearing Deficiencies, marked on 24 September this year.
A number of 760 people with sight deficiencies, members of the Public Association, Association of Blind People of Moldova, will be able to raise a material assistance worth 1,000 lei each. At the same time, ten active members of this organization will benefit from 2,000 lei each, by the International White Cane Day and the World Sight Day.
According to the Chisinau city hall, 50 people with disabilities, members of the Public Association Society of Invalids from the Chisinau municipality, will benefit from 2,000 lei each, in order to improve the quality of their lives and encourage the active participation in the social, public and cultural life.
At the same time, 17 socially vulnerable people and families from Chisinau will benefit from financial assistance amounting to 205,000 lei, in order to overcome difficult situations triggered by the serious health condition and other social and economic factors.
