PHOTO Over 17 thousand children trained how to react in emergency situations
Chisinau, July 19. /MOLDPRES/- Over 17 thousand children were trained by the specialists of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) on the basics of life safety. Employees of the Inspectorate carried out measures to prevent emergency situations, as well as actions in case of their occurrence among children.
Prophylaxis actions are organized by all subdivisions of the institution in the districts of the country and in Chisinau. Thus, since the beginning of the summer period, IGSU employees trained 17,714 children from 119 camps, including 2,182 teachers, in the field of life safety basics.
Lifeguards presented theoretical information, organized demonstration lessons and interactive workshops through which children had the opportunity to study more about safety, personal protection rules and the necessary actions to take in case of emergency situations. Moreover, the children had the opportunity to learn some skills to provide first aid.
The most recent measures to prevent risks among children were organized in the rest camps for children in Vadul lui Vodă, Găgăuzia, Hâncești, Cahul, Cantemir, Căușeni and Soroca.
Similar actions are to be carried out in all districts of the country throughout the summer period, with the aim of promoting safety among children and preventing risks during the summer vacation.
