Chisinau, August 18 /MOLDPRES/- An employee of the National Public Security Inspectorate was detained today by anti-corruption officers, being suspected in an influence peddling case. The policewoman was denounced by a driver, who allegedly wanted to get rid of the penalty points.

This would have asked the informant to transfer the money, in two installments, to two bank cards. In the morning, searches were carried out at the duty office of the policewoman from the Causeni Police Inspectorate, at her home and in her car. Also, more information was collected from the centralized system of the Information Technology Service of the MAI.
