
Revenues of Moldova's National Health Insurances Company increase by almost 30 per cent in January 2023
Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/ - The National Health Insurances Company (CNAM) has informed that, in January 2023, it collected almost 627 million lei in the mandatory health insurances accounts (AOAM), up by 28 per cent against the same period of the year before.
Most revenues come from the health insurances premiums in percentage quota from the salary. They reached the figure of 545 million lei, which is by almost 105 million lei more against the same period of 2022.
At the same time, expenses worth more than one billion lei were made from AOAM accounts in the first month of this year; this money was transferred mostly to the contracted providers of medical and pharmaceutical services. The sum transferred for the medical services, compensated medicines and medical devices, provided in last January, is by 84 million lei higher against the same period of the previous year.
