Procedure to get documents allowing export of animal products to be simplified in Moldova

Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/ - The single desks for issuing permissive acts for exporting animal origin goods will be created within territorial offices of the National Agency for Food Safety. The government approved a regulation to this effect today.

Thus, both the time for the issuance of permissive acts necessary for export will be shortened, and the costs for getting this document will be cut. Presently, the procedure for obtaining the sanitary and veterinary export authorisation „is quite difficult and needs significant efforts on behalf of economic agents involved in these activities,” the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry said.

Exporters will not longer be obliged to go to more institutions in order to submit the application to get the authorisation and necessary documents, as well as when picking up the permissive act.

The sanitary and veterinary certificate will be issued in simplified procedure: once the application for the next batch submitted, the single desk will carry out only the procedures related to getting the sanitary and veterinary export notification and issuance of the sanitary and veterinary certificate. The simplified procedure will not exceed the period of five working days.
