27 new drugs registered in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 September /MOLDPRES/- The Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (AMDM) recorded in August producer prices for 264 pharmaceuticals and approved 27 new drugs.

Under AMDM data, among the registered preparations are anti-asthma, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, vitamins, psychoanaleptics, antiseptics, mucolytics, anti-diabetics, psychoanaleptics, cardiac preparations, dental preparations.

In August, 30 positions were discussed within the Commission on the authorization of the import of medicines, of which 27 preparations were accepted for import. Of the 27 accepted positions are: vasodilators, antiviral preparations, antineoplastic and immunomodulatory (oncological), ophthalmic, corticosteroids, psychostimulants, haematological preparations.

At the same time, to ensure the pharmaceutical market of Moldova with quality, effective and harmless medicines, the Laboratory for Drug Quality Control last month checked 2605 series of pharmaceutical preparations, of which five were discarded.
