Event dedicated to Wine of Moldova to take place in Bucharest in next week-end
Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Wine of Moldova and the millennial traditions in wine-making will be celebrated in Romania. In the next week-end, 50 wine-makers will participate in the fourth edition of the Wine of Moldova Festival, due in the Youth Park of Bucharest. The event, which has become a reference one for people fond of wines, is a platform of communication between wine producers and the consumers on the Romanian market, which is a strategic one for the exports of Wine of Moldova.
The festival is organized by the National Office of Vine and Wine (ONVV), with the support of the strategic partner Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF) and the City hall of the Bucharest Municipality through the Cultural Centre of the Bucharest Municipality (ARCUB).
„A record number of 50 wine-makers will be present at this year edition of the Moldovan Wine festival. The number of producers from Moldova has grown year after year starting from 2019, when we celebrated the first issue of the event for the first time. This year too, we are set to transform Bucharest into a town of wine, where tens of thousands of people fond of wine will celebrate the Wine of Moldova and the wine-making traditions of Moldova. For this edition, we come up with a new slogan – OUR WINE CONQUERS THE WORLD, which emphasizes the continuous evolution, through which we are set chrystallize everything Moldova has the best and the commitment to produce wines of exceptional quality,’’ ONVV director Stefan Iamandi said.
The National Wine Day is the greatest holiday which promotes the Wine of Moldova, the millennial traditions in wine-making and the responsible consumption of quality wine. The festival has already become a tradition among the wine-makers and vine-growers and is celebrated in the first week-end of October, immediately after the end of the grapes’ harvesting. In the last years, the wine festival was organized also on target markets for the export of wine products. In the beginning of this autumn, similar events took place in Warsaw, as well as in Iasi, Romania, and festivals will also be organized in Cluj, Romania, Japan and Canada.
