Five road segments, one bridge made available for movement in Moldova in 2020
Chisinau, 22 January /MOLDPRES/ - Five national road segments and one bridge were made available for movement in 2020. The overall value of the works was of more than 204 million lei, financed with road fund’s means.
According to the State Administration of Roads (ASD), the reception at the completion of the works with opening of a road sector – part of the G91 national road and a segment of the G92 national road, with an overall value of repair works of about 66 million lei, took place in late last July.
In mid-October 2020, a segment of the M1 national road, with a length of ten km, was made available for traffic. ‘’The road segment with a value of over 52 million lei is placed between the settlement Condrita of Chisinau municipality and Suruceni village, Ialoveni district. In late last year, a bridge across the Raut river in the Floresti district was opened. The repaired bridge, with the works worth about 17 million lei, has a length of about 57 metres and a width of over 12 metres, according to ASD.
Also, two road segments part of the G109 national road, with a total length of 4.1 km, were made available for traffic in 2020 too. The first segment is in the eastern Anenii Noi district and its repair cost over 36 million lei. The second segment, with a length of 2.2 km, is in the same district and the repair works amounted to more than 33 million lei, ASD added.
