Inflation rate - 2.23% in March, BNS says

Chisinau, April 20 /MOLDPRES/- The data of the National Statistics Bureau /BNS/ on Consumer Price Index (CPI) in March 2023 were published in today's issue of the Official Journal.

According to the BNS, the CPI in March 2023, compared to December 2022, is 102.23%, respectively the inflation rate for this period is 2.23%.

In January, the CPI was 100.45%, in February it increased, reaching 101.40%. The upward trend was also maintained in March, when the CPI was 102.23%.
