Local Product exhibition to open on 28 August at Moldexpo: two national records and over 300 participating companies

Over 300 producers from various districts of the Republic of Moldova will take part in the 2nd edition of Local Product exhibition, which will be held from 28–30 August 2026 at Moldexpo. The organizers have prepared two national records and a program dedicated to the whole family, so visitors will enjoy three days where taste, music, tradition, and the work of local producers come together in one place.

The producers present at the event will showcase a wide range of products: food and traditional delicacies, wines, natural cosmetics, textiles, furniture, leather goods, flowers, pharmaceutical products, and handicrafts. Visitors will be able to buy directly from the producers, discover local brands, and choose authentic products for their home, family, or gifts.

The exhibition will take place in the Central Pavilion and the Industrial Pavilion of the Moldexpo Center. It can be visited between 10:00 and 18:00. Free entry.

The exhibition program includes tastings, culinary demonstrations, interactive activities, and performances that highlight local traditions and creativity.

The event will be marked by two national records. Thus, on 28 August, visitors will be able to admire “The largest woven carpet in the Republic of Moldova”, and on 29 August the public is invited to watch live the preparation and assembly of “The largest sour cherry pie in the Republic of Moldova”, a record that will be officially measured and validated. At the end, visitors will be able to take part in the tasting.

The exhibition will also include Top Wineries 2026 Gala, as well as numerous opportunities to meet the people behind local brands and to learn more about products created in the country.

The event is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization of the Republic of Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova, the National Tourism Office, the Moldexpo International Exhibition Center, and with the support of several partner companies.
