Chisinau, 17 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- On June 25, shipping worker day will be marked annually in Moldova. The government's decision in this regard was published in the Official Journal on 17 December.

Setting up the shipping worker day, Moldova will adjust to good international practices, and the employees of several state-owned enterprises, incluhding Ungheni River Port, U.S. Molovata Ferry, the Naval Agency of the Republic of Moldova, the employees of the Giurgiulesti port complex, economic agents and private people will have their professional day.

The Republic of Moldova is a member of the International Maritime Organization, the International Convention on Standards of Training of Seafarers, Patent / Attestation and Charter Service, and the Code of Training / Certification of Seafarers and Charter Service.
