France to support Moldova in process of public service's transformation, modernization
Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has had a meeting with Minister of Transformation and Public Service of the French government Amélie de Montchalin, during her working visit to Paris.
According to the presidential press service, the main subject was the identification of the fields and mechanisms of cooperation in the long run, which will boost the bilateral relations between Moldova and France.
„In particular, we referred to possibility to take over French practices and expertise in the transformation and modernization of the public service from Moldova, including locally, through digitalization and transparentization. Amélie de Montchalin showed willingness to make available training and professionalization programmes to institutions and civil servants from Moldova, including online,’’ the head of state said.
President Maia Sandu paid a visit to France, at an invitation by French President Emmanuel Macron.
