Level of preparation for joining EU discussed at Moldova's Foreign Affairs Ministry
Chisinau, 31 July /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has chaired a working meeting with the heads, secretaries and members of the working groups set up within the mechanism of coordination of the process of Moldova’s European integration. It is about representatives of the Finance Ministry, Economic Development and Digitalization Ministry, Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry, Environment Ministry, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry and State Chancellery of Moldova, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.
The participants in the meeting discussed the implementation of the measures from the action plan on the raising of the level of preparation for the integration into the European Union and aligning with the EU’s legislation on those 33 chapters of the EU acquis in the fulfillment of the criteria of accession to EU for the period 2023-2027.
All Moldovan institutions are resolute to take additional efforts, in order to make significant progress, so that the country is able to start the negotiations on accession as soon as possible.
