Moldovan head of state starts public discussions on initiative to set up National Centre of Information Defence and Combating Propaganda
Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has discussed with representatives of development partners and civil society the setting up of the National Centre for Information Defence and Combating Propaganda, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state referred to the goal of the Centre’s creation, its basic prerogatives and how this Centre will prevent and combat the misinformation and propaganda. The participants came up with suggestions for the improvement of the draft law. The process of consultations will continue in the next weeks.
