
Candidate of Action and Solidarity Party for Moldovan president's office meets residents from Sangerei
Chisinau, 14 October /MOLDPRES/ - The candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) for the Moldovan president’s office, Maia Sandu, on 13 October met residents of the northern Sangerei town. She urged the citizens to participate in the ballot due on 20 October, to go to vote and choose freely, just as the conscience dictates.
„In Sangerei, the people said that they would not let the country’s fate to be decided by the buyers of votes. As there are more of us and we are stronger when we go to vote and choose freely, just as the conscience dictates,’’ Maia Sandu said.
Sandu said that the Sangerei town had changed its look in the last years – the central street was capitally repaired for the first time since 1980; also, - the road belt of the town; projects on urban revitalization were carried out; the town is in process of connection to aqueduct and the local lyceum was selected to be turned into a model school. ‘’We vote on 20 October for good living conditions in Sangerei and all over the country,’’ Maia Sandu urged.
On 20 October, presidential elections and a constitutional referendum for Moldova’s accession to the European Union will be held in Moldova. Eleven candidates registered for the race for the Moldovan president’s position. The electoral campaign will end on 18 October.
