„During one month, we have gone to our villages and cities, in order to back our mayors and councilors and what’s most important – we talked and listened to citizens. Everywhere, the people told us that they need good conditions for living, access to water and sewerage, efficient street illumination, renovated schools and kindergartens, modern waste collection services, safety on streets. At the elections due on 5 November, PAS has 702 candidates for mayors, 1,158 candidates for the position of district councilor and 9,312 candidates for local councils. During all this time, I have seen determined PAS candidates, confident and ready to give a helping hand for developing their settlements,’’ Igor Grosu said.

Also today, the candidate of the Dignity and Truth Platform Party (DA) for the office of Chisinau general mayor, Victor Chironda, urged his supporters to vote for the team of DA councilors in a public declaration.

The president of the National Alternative Movement Party (MAN), Ion Ceban, today unveiled the investment programme for the Moldovan capital’s development.

„Chisinau is a city which provided opportunities of investments, as it is strategically placed and distinguishes itself through the development of the infrastructure and connectivity. We will further develop the investment profiles and will add another new profiles for Chisinau, including the ones dealing with measures of energy efficiency and enhancement of the energy security,’’ Ion Ceban said.

The candidate of the European Social Democratic Party (PSDE) for the office of Chisinau general mayor, Vadim Brinzaniuc, today gave a news conference on the reform of the municipal administration.
