Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/- Parliament will apply electronic voting from today. Speaker Igor Grosu made the statement today.
"The implementation of this system means more transparency and predictability, and citizens will have the opportunity to follow closely the activity of the deputies they have delegated to the legislature," Grosu said.
The electronic voting system consists of two interconnected modules. These are the BOSCH DCN-CW Conference Software Program and the Data Display Program, which collects and displays voting options via a graphical interface.
The instruction of the electronic voting system, approved by the standing bureau regulates the rules of use of the system, systematization of the exposed vote, display of voting results and its disaggregation in the options expressed - for or against, distribution by fractions and nominal per deputy.
In order to use the system, Members will have a user card, according to the place they occupy in the plenary hall and which is part of the Electronic Counting System.
After the voting procedure, the report on the result of the vote in PDF format will be stored and archived in electronic format. Likewise, the overall report on the draft normative / administrative acts is to be placed on the Parliament's website.
