As many as 304 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 18 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,730 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 304 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Five out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 372,154 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), three out of all infection cases are among medical employees.
As many as 734 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 59 are in extremely serious condition and 3 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 2,538 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 8,440 are under supervision at home.
Another 443 people have been treated. As many as 357,372 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 16 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,482 people have died of coronavirus in all.
