
As many as 43 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 25 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,737 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 43 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which two import ones. As many as 258,624 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none out of all new cases registered today is among medical employees.
As many as 192 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 48 are in extremely serious condition (eight patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 588 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 21,685 are under supervision at home.
Another 52 people have been treated. As many as 251,489 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,244 people have died of coronavirus in all.
