As many as 753 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/- A number of 2,489 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 753 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which five import ones. As many as 204,463 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 26 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –9, medical assistants –12 and auxiliary staff -5.
As many as 4,217 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 336 are in extremely serious condition (67 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 10,397 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 19,058 are under supervision at the domicile.
Another 983 people have been treated. As many as 178,322 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 36 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 4,330 people have died of coronavirus in all.
