Austrian firemen volunteers donate 12 special intervention vehicles to colleagues from Moldova
Chisinau, 3 September /MOLDPRES/ - The subdivisions of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) and the posts of voluntary firemen from Moldova will receive 12 special intervention vehicles. The donation is provided by the Austrian Association of Firemen Volunteers.
According to IGSU, six settlements will benefit from intervention vehicles meant for the posts of rescuers and firemen volunteers: Pohrebeni and Ghetlova, Orhei district; communes of Lalova and Mateuti, Rezina district; Clinceni commune, Soldanesti district; Sadaclia settlement, Basarabeasca district.
At the same time, two IGSU territorial subdivisions, the Emergency Situations Department of the Orhei municipality and the Cainari Unit of Rescuers and Firemen of the Causeni Regional Department for Emergency Situations, received special vehicles which will be daily used on job missions.
Also, on 3-5 September 2024, the firemen volunteers from Austria will hold training lectures for Moldovan firemen volunteers from the settlements beneficiaries.
