Bomb threat at Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau; passengers evacuated
A bomb threat today was announced at the Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau and passengers and staff were evacuated. Airport services and border police officers intervened, while specialized units of the Interior Ministry (MAI) are on their way to the scene.
According to the administration of Eugen Doga International Airport – Chisinau, the passenger check-in procedure has been suspended and today’s scheduled flights may be subject to changes.
“Airport services, together with border police officers, acted promptly to evacuate passengers and staff from the airport. Specialized units of the MAI are on their way to the scene,” the airport administration announced.
Passengers with flights scheduled for today are advised to check the status of their flights on the airport’s online board and follow the instructions of staff and authorities.
