Chisinau city hall applied for 3.5 million euros from European Commission
Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall participates in a European Commission tender for 3.5 million euros.
The city hall has applied for financing as a grant from the European Commission under the funding program Partnerships for sustainable cities in the Sothern and Eastern Neighborhood for projects in the municipal public transport.
If Chisinau becomes part of the MOVIE IT like Lublin project, it would benefit from a budget for activities of 3.5 million euros, which also includes the co-financing part of the municipality of 5% of the total amount. The project aims at developing the public transport system in Chisinau according to the model of organizing public transport in Lublin, Poland.
