IGPF: All border crossing points operate as usual
Chisinau, July 26. /MOLDPRES/-Today, the General Inspectorate of Border Police (IGPF) announced that all border crossing points are operating as usual, no interruptions or blockages of access to them have been notified.
At the same time, due to heavy rain and strong wind, the electricity was disconnected in Valea Rusului Border Police Sector (Fălești district), but this fact does not affect the work of the subdivision in any way, the institution said.
The authorities urged travelers to be informed about the weather conditions both in the country and in the state where they planned to travel, as well as to take into account the warnings of the relevant institution before setting off on a long journey.
A strong storm was recorded last night in the north and center of the country, and as a result, several localities were cut off electricity. Some routes were blocked after numerous trees were felled.
