Medical equipment worth over 100,000 dollars donated to Health Ministry's Hospital in Moldova
Chisinau, 21 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Health Ministry’s Hospital today received an ambulance and more medical devices worth 116,634 dollars on behalf of the Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Moldova.
The equipment, among which apparatus for monitoring the vital functions, examination tables, glucose meters, tensiometers, electrocardiographs, pulseoxymeters, as well as the ambulance were purchased with the financial support of the United States’ government, within the project, Humanitarian Assistance in Ukraine and Neighbour Countries.
The ambulance will be used especially for the inter-hospital transfer of patients, as it is endowed will all needed medical equipment for carriage.
The Health Ministry informs that, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, IOM has donated medicines, consumables, medical devices worth over 500,000 dollars to medical and sanitary institutions of Moldova.
