National Army detects six unauthorized flights in Moldova’s airspace on October 3
The National Army of Moldova detected a total of six unauthorized flights in the national airspace today morning, amid the Russian Federation’s massive attacks on Ukraine. The information was presented by the Air Operations Service of the National Army.
According to the institution, five aircraft had previously been identified — three missiles and two drones, which exploded on the ground. Following further analysis of the overflight data, a sixth unauthorized flight was identified.
It entered the airspace of Moldova at 8:04 a.m., from the direction of the town of Udobnoe, Odesa region, Ukraine, heading toward Palanca.
One minute later, at 8:05 a.m., the object left the airspace of the Republic of Moldova, moving in the direction of Biliaivka, Ukraine.
“In total, today, October 3, the National Army’s surveillance systems detected six unauthorized flights,” the Defense Ministry said.
The Air Operations Service continues to monitor the airspace of Moldova, in coordination with the competent authorities and partners.
