Moldovan parliament adopts draft law on state social insurances budget for 2022
Chisinau, 6 December /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs today voted the draft law on the state social insurances budget for 2022 in the second reading.
Under the document, both in terms of revenues and of expenses, 31.2 billion lei are planned, which is by 13.6 per cent more against 2021.
The increase in expenses is prompted by the growth of the social benefits carried out in 2021, which refer especially to the following: increase in the old age pension; increase in the quantum of all state allocations; increase in the calculation basis of the pension in the case of the non-contributive period of taking care of a child with severe disability or of a person with severe disability; extending the number of beneficiaries of assistance for the cold period of the year.
