Moldsilva put up for sale over 44,000 conifers for New Year's Eve

Chisinau, 27 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- For the New Year holidays this year, the State Agency Moldsilva put on sale about 44 thousand Christmas trees. There are more than 41,000 spruce trees and almost 3,000 pine trees.
Iulian Mamai, head of the Forest Fund, Protected Areas and Forest Regeneration Directorate, mentioned that the company also made available to the population about 5,000 coniferous branches.
The Moldsilva agency warns that in case of illegal cutting of firs from the forest fund or from other green spaces, private people risk a fine between 1,000-2,000 lei.
