New local elections to be held in Balti municipality
Chisinau, 7 September /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission established at today's meeting organization of new local elections for the position of mayor of Bălți municipality for this November 21st.
According to the CEC decision, the premature termination of the mayor's term occurred in connection with resignation.
Also on November 21, new local elections will take place in 13 localities: Palanca and Ștefănești villages, Ștefan Vodă district; Bălceana village, Hâncești district; Hlinaia village and Cupcini town, Edinet district; Ucrainca commune, Causeni district; Hârtop commune, Cimișlia district; Ișcălău commune, Pârlița commune and Călinești village, Fălești district; Camenca commune, Glodeni district; Negurenii Vechi commune, Ungheni district and Bălți municipality.
