Chisinau, January 13 / MOLDPRES /- One-off allowance of 16,000 lei will be paid this year to employees of the state medical system, who became infected with COVID-19 at work.
According to a decision of the Executive yesterday, in order to ensure the support measure of the employees of the medical system directly involved in the fight against COVID-19 to exclude the admission of an inequity towards the medical staff, starting with January 1, 2022, the payment of this allowance will be maintained. for the categories of employees of the National Agency for Public Health, who are involved in the diagnosis and epidemiological surveillance of cases and outbreaks of the new coronavirus, medical staff employed and directly involved in medical activities to combat COVID-19 infection in medical institutions / subdivisions of ministries Internal Affairs, Defense, Labor and Social Protection, the National Administration of Penitentiaries, the Intelligence and Security Service, the one in the public medical institutions of hospital medical assistance, of urgent pre-hospital medical assistance, of specialized ambulatory medical assistance, of assistance primary medical care.
The expenses will be from the account of the emergency funds of the Government. The decision will enter into force on the date of publication in the Official Journal of Moldova.
According to statistics, 17,771 employees benefited from one-off allowance of 16 thousand lei for 2020-2021.
