
Over 3,000 Ukrainian refugees receive medical assistance in Moldovan capital
Chisinau, Aug. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Over 3,000 Ukrainian citizens, beneficiaries of temporary protection have registered on the lists of family doctors in Chisinau and are receiving medical assistance.
According to deputy mayor of the capital Angela Cutasevici, the number of Ukrainian refugees who benefit from free medical services in Chisinau is constantly increasing. "So far, 3,322 Ukrainian citizens, beneficiaries of temporary protection, have registered on the lists of family doctors in the municipality of Chisinau," said the deputy mayor.
According to the legislation, the temporary protection status gives them free access to various medical services, including: pre-hospital emergency medical care, primary care, hospital care in case of medical-surgical emergencies, prophylaxis services, counseling services.
Municipal authorities urge all Ukrainian citizens living in Chisinau to submit the necessary documents to obtain the status of beneficiary of temporary protection. This status allows them to register with the family doctor in the nearest medical institution and benefit from free medical services.
