Over 5,000 foreigners applied for asylum in Moldova
Chisinau, March 21 / MOLDPRES /- On 24 February - 21 March, the Office for Migration and Asylum received 5,327 asylum applications.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the same period, 331,318 Ukrainian citizens entered the MD-UA segment. Of these, 231,820 left the country, and 97,524 Ukrainian citizens remained.
In total, there are 101,536 foreign nationals on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, of which 49,118 are minors, Ukrainian citizens and of other nationalities who have entered the MD-AU segment.
