Chisinau, 6 May /MOLDPRES/- The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women (UN Women) office in Moldova will provide small grants to civil society organizations in the country. The application deadline is 24 May 2021.
The amount of grants is from five to ten thousand dollars. They will be used exclusively to fund a limited range of eligible activities to support the development or strengthening of the institutional capacities of civil society.
UN Women invites eligible applicants to submit applications, in particular organizations working in the context of the elimination of violence against women and the promotion of women in leadership and governance positions.
"The purpose of small grants is to support the organizational development of the applicant and not to fund the provision of programmatic activities," UN Women press release said.
The implementation of the grant must be a maximum of six months (from June to November 2021).
