Unauthorized flight detected in Moldova's airspace
The Air Operations Service of the National Army detected an unauthorized flight in the national airspace this morning. It occurred amid the Russian Federation’s massive attacks on Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the unauthorized flight in the national airspace was detected at 08:43, and it immediately left the area toward the locality of Limanske, Ukraine, at 08:44.
“The Air Operations Service continues to monitor the airspace of the Republic of Moldova, in coordination with the relevant authorities and partners,” the cited source announced.
Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine during the night of October 7, using ballistic missiles, Kalibr, Iskander-K, and Kh-101 missiles. The attack targeted several cities and localities, with energy infrastructure being the primary target.
