University of Medicine to hold vaccination marathon for all students in Moldova
Chisinau, 18 May /MOLDPRES/- The State University of Medicine and Pharmacy Nicolae Testemitanu will organize a university immunization marathon against COVID-19 on 21-23 May entitled From student to student.
According to USMF, the marathon will start on Friday, at 15:00, and will run until Sunday, at 21:00. Vaccination will take place non-stop, based on the identity card, according to the principle of first come, first served. Thus, all students, teachers, pupils who have reached 18 years and other categories of staff from all educational institutions in the country are urged to get vaccinated.
Ten immunization points will be organized at the marathon, where Sinopharm and AstraZeneca vaccines will be available.
Family doctors, nurses from the University Clinic of Primary Health Care of USMF Nicolae Testemitanu, members of the academic community, scientists and teachers from clinical departments, resident doctors, students and staff will be trained in vaccination process.
The USMF will also administer the booster. On 11-13 June, Sinopharm serum will be inoculated, and on 16-18 July - AstraZeneca vaccine.
