PHOTO GALLERY // Statue of Queen Mary set in centre of Moldovan capital
The Monumentum Association n 27 March will inaugurate the statue of Queen Mary in the centre of Moldova’s capital, thus marking the 107th anniversary of Bessarabia’s Union with Romania. The monument, placed on the square of the Gheorghe Asachi Lyceum, will be unveiled at a solemn ceremony. Attending the event will be officials from both banks of the Prut river, diplomats and representatives of the Church.
