PHOTO GALLERY // National Wine Day during 25 years: celebration of Moldovan wine in photographs from MOLDPRES Archive

MOLDPRES photojournalists over the years have captured the atmosphere of National Wine Day in images – from its first editions to the celebrations that have become an annual tradition. The people, wines, traditions, national costumes, music and festive moments are brought together in a photographic collection that keeps alive the memory of one of Moldova’s most beloved celebrations.

The gallery brings together photographs taken by MOLDPRES over the years and offers a visual journey through the evolution of the event, as well as the stories of the people who, edition after edition, have transformed National Wine Day into a celebration of the country’s winemaking traditions.

National Wine Day is an annual celebration dedicated to winemaking traditions, officially established in 2002 by a decision of the parliament and held on the first weekend of October.
