The capital is dressed in festive attire for Chisinau City Day, marked this year in the context of the 590th anniversary of its first documentary attestation. The Great National Assembly Square has become the central venue for the events, bringing together residents and guests of the capital in an atmosphere animated by music and traditions.
The celebrations began at the Birth of God Metropolitan Cathedral with the Holy Liturgy. The schedule also includes the Prayer for Chisinau concert, organized on the cathedral square, featuring local choirs and performers.
MOLDPRES photojournalist Mihai Vengher captured the atmosphere of Chisinau City Day and the moments that add charm to this special day.
